Terms & Conditions
Effective and last updated: 29 July 2026
1. Acceptance
By accessing this website, submitting an inquiry, booking a consultation or using our services, you agree to these Terms to the extent applicable. If you do not agree, do not use the website or submit information through it.
2. Private-Sector Scope
K9 Elite Philippines serves private clients, families, companion-dog owners, personal-protection clients and professional handlers. Every inquiry is assessed according to the requested service, dog suitability, safety requirements and applicable law.
3. No Automatic Acceptance
An inquiry, application, payment request or consultation does not guarantee acceptance into a program or availability of a dog. K9 Elite Philippines may require an assessment and may refuse, suspend or discontinue a service when safety, suitability, welfare, legal compliance, capacity, behavior or payment concerns exist.
4. Client Eligibility and Authority
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering agreements. You confirm that you own the dog or have lawful authority to authorize training, handling, transport, veterinary care and related decisions.
5. Accuracy of Information
You must provide complete and truthful information about the dog and handler, including health, aggression, bites, dangerous behavior, medications, reproductive status, legal restrictions, prior training and known triggers. Failure to disclose material information may result in immediate termination without refund and may make you responsible for resulting loss or injury.
6. Health, Vaccination and Disease Control
Dogs must meet the health and vaccination requirements communicated for the relevant service. K9 Elite Philippines may require veterinary clearance, vaccination records, parasite control or temporary exclusion. A dog showing signs of contagious disease, severe pain or a condition incompatible with training may be refused.
7. Training Risks and Animal Behavior
Dog training involves inherent risks. Dogs are animals capable of unpredictable behavior, escape, bites, scratches, falls, collisions, property damage, illness, stress and injury. Protection training, decoy work, tracking, agility, swimming, environmental exposure and work around equipment involve additional risk. Participation is voluntary and may require a separate signed risk acknowledgement and liability waiver.
8. No Guarantee of Outcome
Results depend on genetics, temperament, health, age, prior experience, handler consistency, environment, attendance and many other factors. K9 Elite Philippines does not guarantee a particular behavior, certification, operational level, protection capability, competition result or time frame.
9. Humane and Proportionate Training
Training decisions will consider safety, welfare, learning progress and suitability. Clients must follow handling instructions and may not use techniques, tools or exercises in a manner that is abusive, unlawful or materially different from professional instruction.
10. Protection Training
Protection work is offered only after assessment and may be refused. Protection dogs are not weapons. Owners remain responsible for control, lawful use, secure housing, public safety, insurance where available, and compliance with all applicable laws and local rules. Training does not authorize unlawful intimidation, assault, vigilantism or deployment.
11. Imported Dutch Dogs
K9 Elite Philippines does not promise standing inventory. Dogs may be sourced after consultation through trusted professional contacts. The academy selects candidates based on the intended home, lifestyle, experience and security needs; clients do not select solely from photographs or appearance. Availability, price, transport, health evaluation, import requirements and suitability remain subject to a separate written agreement.
12. Bookings, Fees and Payment
Prices, deposits, schedules and inclusions will be stated in a quotation or agreement. Unless otherwise stated, a place is not reserved until the required payment is received. Additional work, travel, equipment, boarding, veterinary care, transport or third-party costs may be charged separately where agreed or reasonably necessary.
13. Cancellations, Rescheduling and Refunds
Cancellation and refund rules are described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy and any signed agreement. Missed appointments, late cancellations, nonattendance, removal for safety reasons and client breach may be non-refundable to the extent permitted by law.
14. Schedule and Program Changes
Weather, heat, animal welfare, instructor availability, emergencies, facility conditions, government restrictions or force majeure may require changes. We may substitute an instructor, relocate, shorten, postpone or reschedule activities when reasonably necessary.
15. Client Conduct
Clients and visitors must follow safety directions, remain within authorized areas, supervise children, control their dogs, respect personnel and other clients, and avoid harassment, threats, intoxication, illegal activity or unsafe interference. Serious misconduct may result in removal and termination of service.
16. Personnel, Decoys and Helpers
The founder, instructors, assistant trainers, decoys/helpers, employees, volunteers, visiting trainers and contractors are entitled to a safe working environment. Clients must not direct, strike, threaten, film covertly, interfere with equipment or release a dog without authorization. Damage or injury caused by a client, guest or dog may be charged to the responsible party to the extent permitted by law.
17. Emergencies and Veterinary Care
In an emergency, we may take reasonable steps to protect people and animals, including restraint, separation, evacuation, contacting emergency services or obtaining veterinary care. The owner remains responsible for veterinary and related costs unless otherwise established by law or written agreement.
18. Media and Confidentiality
Marketing use of identifiable client media requires an appropriate lawful basis or permission. Clients may not publish confidential methods, private records, assessments, examination materials, personal data, security-sensitive exercises or recordings of other persons without authorization.
19. Intellectual Property
Website content, branding, curricula, manuals, presentations, scorecards, certificates, forms, videos, photographs and examination materials are protected. No license is granted except limited personal viewing. Unauthorized copying, resale, teaching, adaptation, scraping, impersonation or commercial use is prohibited.
20. Website Information
Website content is general information and may change. It is not veterinary, medical, legal, insurance or security advice. You should obtain qualified professional advice for your circumstances.
21. Third-Party Links
Links to external websites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, security or privacy practices.
22. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Philippine law, K9 Elite Philippines and its founder, personnel, contractors and representatives are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary or consequential loss arising from website use or services. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
23. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless K9 Elite Philippines and its founder, instructors, employees, helpers, volunteers and contractors from third-party claims, loss, damage, penalties and reasonable costs resulting from your breach, your dog, your guests, undisclosed risks, unlawful use or failure to follow instructions.
24. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms removes non-waivable rights or remedies under applicable Philippine consumer law. If a provision conflicts with a mandatory law, the mandatory law prevails and the remaining provisions continue where possible.
25. Electronic Communications
You consent to receiving service communications electronically. Electronic records, confirmations and signatures may be used to the extent recognized by applicable law.
26. Online Academy and Digital Courses
The K9 Elite Philippines Online Academy forms part of the services governed by these Terms. Purchasing or accessing a digital course creates a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use that course for individual learning, subject to these Terms and any course-specific conditions.
26.1 Accounts and Access
Users are responsible for keeping login credentials confidential and for activity conducted through their account. Course access may not be sold, shared, transferred, copied or made available to another person without written authorization.
26.2 Payments and Course Activation
Prices are displayed before purchase. Digital course access may be activated only after payment is successfully confirmed by the payment processor. A pending, failed, reversed or disputed payment does not create a right to course access. Payment processing may be provided by third parties such as PayMongo and is also subject to the provider's applicable terms.
26.3 Educational Nature and Training Safety
Online courses provide educational guidance and do not guarantee a particular training outcome. Owners and handlers remain responsible for assessing their dog, environment and ability to perform an exercise safely. Stop an exercise when safety, welfare or behavioral conditions make continuation inappropriate and seek suitable in-person professional assistance when necessary.
26.4 Protection Training
Personal-protection and comparable bite-work training is not offered as a self-directed online training course. This work requires appropriate dogs, controlled conditions, suitable equipment and direct professional supervision. Information on the website concerning protection dogs or protection training is informational and does not authorize unsupervised protection training.
26.5 Progress, Completion and Certificates
Course progress and completion may be recorded electronically. An Online Academy certificate confirms completion of the applicable online course only. It does not by itself certify real-world handling ability, operational competence, professional trainer status or successful completion of an official practical examination. Where K9 Elite Philippines offers a separate practical examination or official certification, its requirements and fees apply separately.
26.6 Digital Content and Intellectual Property
Course lessons, manuals, images, graphics, videos, assessments, certificates, layouts and other academy materials are protected content. Users may use them for their own authorized learning but may not reproduce, screen-record, redistribute, publish, resell, upload, translate for distribution, remove branding from, or create commercial derivative training products from them without written permission.
26.7 Availability and Changes
We may make reasonable corrections, security updates, lesson improvements and platform changes. Temporary interruption may occur for maintenance, hosting, payment, authentication or other technical reasons. Where a material issue prevents purchased access, we will use reasonable efforts to restore access or provide an appropriate remedy consistent with applicable law.
26.8 Refunds for Digital Courses
Refund eligibility for digital courses is governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy and mandatory Philippine consumer law. Nothing in these Terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
27. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Parties should first attempt good-faith resolution through written notice and discussion. Subject to mandatory law, disputes shall be brought before the competent courts or authorities in the Philippines.
28. Changes and Severability
We may update these Terms prospectively. If one provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective to the greatest extent allowed.
